Real Estate License Requirements  

To become a licensed Connecticut agent, you must complete the following courses and exams:

Real Estate "Principles and Practices": You must complete 60 classroom hours and pass a written exam. These courses are conducted locally in many areas. Several are listed below. 

State and General Exams: Upon completion of the Principles and Practices curricula, you must pass the State and General real estate exams. These tests are administered under the direction of the Real Estate Commission in Hartford. After passing these you can affiliate with an agency to receive your real estate salesperson's license.
